Mexicali: Day One

We want to thanks for the people of Mexico that opened up their spaces and community to make this event happen. Here are photos from our first night in Mexicali at Escritorio de Procesos. It was a great night of music and culture being exchanged between two cities that are not that far apart. From the photos and the videos the mexican punk scene is alive and thriving and it definitely feels like home.  The energy was overtop and more then expected for us zinester from Los Angeles. Zinester Preview ~ Vegan Canibal

Carlos Olvera aka Vegan Canibal divides his work between art, music and tattoo themes addressed by the baseless and tasteless pop culture and punk; developing a grotesque aesthetic beginning with the paint job now focus more on the immediacy of drawing. Vegan Cannibal is the pseudonym used to produce analog electronic music project with what was presented in Copenhagen, Berlin, Spain, EU and Mexico, during these last years has worked with groups such as Neter, Zinamigos and Feral, with whom he has collaborated for the art scene and independent music.
